Very funny game, the gameplay was ok for a fighting game although it could benefit from another action key, maybe for kicking. The special moves are pretty cool and well thought. Loved that the last (secret) boss was Xenu... And I sure loved kicking him around as well (it would only be better if Tom Cruise himself was the boss). I agree with some critics that say you could have satan in there or maybe even Jeovah...
Oh and maybe the ending could be improved... I shall leave the "How" part up to you.
You did very well by putting in the "sensitive muslim" option as it saves you from any unwanted attention and even adds a little nuance of fun to it. Now my own safeguard: It's not that I think that the whole issue behind the profet representation is stupid, but it just doesn't make any sense in a globalized free society.
Although there are some minor problems in gaming speed, a storyline that doesn't evolve much (what happened to the tape?!), and the fact that it doesn't go on for longer with an appropriate ending... I have to say it's an excellent piece of flash work: simplicity, good programming, appropriate graphics and more-than-needed sound effects and music!
It's very Final Fantasy-ish in it's gaming kind with the items and abillities and specialties, but I have to say that even though we've been flooded since that game appeared with other very similar games (specially in flash) this is still very original and functional. Maybe the best compliment I can give you is that I really got obssessed about strategy mathematics and thought many times about skipping work to play your great game.
This game is very cool and addictive, nice graphics and everything has a good feel to it but being a demo... Of course I can't give it more points because the game suddenly ends before it gets challenging or hard. I also don't think the gameplay is amazing, it could use some more details maybe.
Very funny and good story but you really have to work a little bit more on animation and drawing, that's what's bringing you movies down right now.
Tip: when you animate the heads turning, don't do all the steps of mirroring the head as it starts getting distorted when it's making the change. Simply flip it right away with a little rotation maybe...
Good graphics, cool gameplay (platforms + puzzle) nice little game track and cool sound effects... And all this in a 600kb shell! See kids? It's possible!!
It amazes me how a 3.9 meg video can have so little... Is it just the size of the track you used? Since there's no "actual" animation, drawing or sound (of another kind), this being just a collage of shots with the manga characters sitting down in a classroom thus allowing the conclusion that manga drawing is very simple - only hair and little other features change; I don't understand what's the point here.
By the way personally I must state (on a personal note) that a song which had close shots of hot women doing gymnastics in lycra clothing for a video... Isn't surely the best choice.
It's funny, well drawn and everything but I think you still need to work on the animation, character movement is too "blocky" and perspective fails a bit. I know this was probably hard work but there's still room for improvement.
Where did you get the alien spaceships from? Because they're too good graphically for the spaceship or the meteors... Which gives a discrepant look and feel to the game. I'm not saying it's theft, but a game or animation works better if all it's parts are in concordance.
The song is a little bit annoying... too "Heroesque" for the feel of the game
One more thing, it really needs more dynamics - faster moving ships, maybe smaller ones with bigger ones that take more shots to destroy for example.
Great work... Love Portal jokes, movies and transfigurations. That's in fact one of the things I most enjoy about the game, it's great raw material for an imaginative person.
Really a good one, especially when the little one talks about the Weighted Companion Cube's gayness... I totally agree.

Haha! Well cooked non-sense funny!
I enjoyed it my friend, good choice of music. Won't give it more because of the graphics, they could use more work.
Well, keep an eye open. I'm working on my most graohic intense cartoon right now.
